Improvisational Strip Piecing

In this three-hour class, you will learn to piece a quilt top with an improvisational style using scraps or small cuts of fabric. During this class, we will discuss choosing fabrics, cutting methods, and how to sew your strips together. After taking this class, you will be more confident piecing quilt tops without a pattern or plan. 

Supplies provided:
Cutting mats and rulers
Rotary cutters
Irons and ironing boards

Supplies needed:
Fabric scissors
Cotton thread
Gallon-sized zip top bag of fabric scraps
