Position Available! Part Time Retail Associate
Pink Castle Fabrics is currently seeking a Retail Associate to add to our team! Job responsibilities include recommending products to our customers, matching colors of products throughout the shop, cutting the fabric to the customer's correct length, and finalizing the transaction.
We've been in business for about 5 years now, and have been open to the public for 3 of those years. We do about 90% of our business online, and most of our products are sold as bundles and kits (that we cut in-house). We have a separate shipping department, customer service department, and several other office staff, so your job duties are very steady. This is a part time position and scheduling follows our store's retail hours of 2:00pm to 7:00pm Monday through Friday and 12:00pm to 5:00pm Saturday and Sunday. Opportunity for this to grow into a full time position (with benefits) is available.
Other requirements include the following:
- Attendance is very important, and you must also be able to get to work on time.
- Must be friendly and courteous. We are open to the public, and customers deserve as much respect as you'd give your employer.
- Must not be a smoker or wear heavy perfumes, as they will damage the fabric.
Aside from that, this is a very low-key job. So long as the job gets done correctly, everybody has a pretty good time. It's a radio-on environment, our staff all gets along well and jokes with each other, and our customers are very friendly and excited to be at our shop. There is room for growth in the future, as we love to promote from within.
